As good as it sounds? No, it was as FUCKING GREAT as it sounds! You'd have thought it was made in the '80's, but in fact it was an almost new production. I can't use enough superlatives for this north-of-the-border extravaganza! When the writer/director/producers also did the effects and starred in it...brilliant!
Definite DOOM material. If you rent, do watch the trailer at the end of the movie for "Bio-Cop".
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

When this first came in the mail, I couldn't remember why I put it in the queue. It sat by the TV for weeks waiting for an opportune time to watch it. Opportune as in when will the Queen be out of the house?
Well, since we switched over DVR's all the shows we had recorded were lost and last night we had nothing to watch but it or the Sing a long 'Sound of Music' (not to be confused with that terrible live version they just re-aired on NBC on Friday, the actual let's go to Salzburg and see the horse bath version) So, the Queen decided we should watch it.
Oh my word. What an incredible piece of junk that everybody in the brotherhood needs to watch immediately. I concur with everything the Yeti says. It looks like the 80's but was released in the 2010's Maybe out director, cinematographer, producer, editor started it in the 80's and is only now finishing it? The acting is terrible. The dialogue is terrible. The effects are terrible. But it all comes out great in the end.
Take for example the modern war being fought with rifles from WW2. My favorite character was the Baron. He almost ruined the whole movie by actually adding character and levity to his role. The main bad woman, who was dead ringer for Liz Phair, I kept referring to as the director's girlfriend because that was the only was she could have gotten the role.
Sword flights, gun fights, terrible martial arts, explosions, robot battles, zombies. This film has everything including a guy who didn't wear a shirt for the entire movie because I guess wardrobe couldn't afford it. (He also talked like he was dubbing a Shaw Brothers film)
I need to see Bio-Cop.
Rent this now. Or bring it Friday.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
