Tom Cruise stars as Jack one of the last people left on Earth that has been decimated by a war with an invading alien species. We follow Jack as he goes about his duties repairing drone robots and suffering from phantom memories of a time before he was born.
Tom Cruise plays Tom Cruise, but he is good at that role. I liked this film much more than thought I would. There is a lot of depth to the story. It looks great. The images of the remnants of civilization are quite well done. And as part of the theme for the weekend, Morgan Freeman has a role. The story even has some good twists that I didn't see coming.
