The Warrior (2001)

I netflixed this because it starred a Bollywood Khan and featured sword fights, so I thought maybe, just maybe...

It's actually beautiful film, shot on location in Rajasthan. It's a karmic tale of absolution, a regretful headsman leaves his position on a quest for liberation. There's some sword work, mostly the slaughter of innocents. No Bollywood dance number. It's not really a martial arts flick at all. However, the look of the film is a marvel, capturing an atmosphere of medieval life and majestic scenery. While not a major recommendation, I found it strangely enjoyable.

Hmmm. The Mountain View Library appears to have this, though it lists the release date as 2005.
The problem is, though I found it with the library's online search, the result page and description doesn't tell me where it's parked.
Normally this wouldn't be much of a problem, because Spanish movies are in the Spanish section, Italian in Italian, etc. But an Indian movie? There are thousands of Indian movies at the Mountain View Library. Where did they get all of them!

If I recall correctly, they're subdivided by culture(?) -- for instance, there's a Hindi section. That's probably where I'll look first. But, yeah, without knowing for certain the Indian subsection, it could be a long search.

The easy thing to do would be to reserve it. Then the voluptuous librarian would have to go find it for me. But I reckon she has better things to do, such as maintain her voluptuousness, which is a full-time job, I figure.

I've long been tempted to venture into the Indian DVD racks. Actually, I've sampled a couple. But it's so intimidating. There are just so many of them. And what I'm specifically looking for are Indian musicals. It would greatly help if they had an Indian subcategory for musicals (okay, that's a bit of a joke).
I'm nobody's pony.
