Well I liked this movie and I didn't. It seemed to me that they should have either gone further toward animation or not so far. It was kind of a neither/nor and just didn't quite work for me. Or rather some scenes did and others were laughable.
I really liked the segment about Mickey Rourke and his prosthetic face. Not so much the Bruce Willis one (too much bad noir dialogue) and the Benicio Del Toro one. So I sort of enjoyed it, but I can see how it would be much better as a graphic novel. (I felt pretty much the same about League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.)
Christina commented about the fact that all the women in the film are wearing lingerie, but I saw nothing wrong with that.
