This is Michelle Yeoh's flailing 2002 attempt to parlay CTHD into some sort of Hollywood success. It's lame - in the wake of Indiana Jones. There's a kernel of a good idea, buried in a morass of self-centered silliness. No swordfights, but Michelle gets to show off her fab kicking skills.

So the white dude star (cuz there's always gotta be one in Hollywood-headed kung fu flicks) Ben Chaplin, is also the star of The Truth about Cats and Dogs, a mediocre Cyrano spin romcom with Janeane Garofalo and Uma Thurman. Michelle, Janeane & Uma? Ben gets around.
