They claim this is a parody.

I don't think so.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I particularly like the one about Storytelling. It essentially states that we all have jobs due to the forebearance and long-suffering patience of the executives in our organizations.

I second your inference that this isn't entirely a parody of reality.
