This documentary is birthed from a long form interview Kubrick gave to a French magazine writer. There are no fresh interviews for the doc. The movie relies heavily on previous interviews from the stars in Kubrick's various movies. They don't go in depth on a lot of movies and even skip a few but it does give a bit of an overview of his career.
