Machine Learning by Hugh Howey - King Bob - 07-22-2024
Short stories by the guy who wrote the Silo trilogy (Wool, Shift, Dust). I had read Wool, so I picked this up at the library sale.
He's a good writer, and the stories are enjoyable, but none are outstanding. Some of them are early works, and I thought it showed. Some stories ended with an afterword by the author, usually about how he came to write the story. Those were perhaps the best part of the book. The author seems likeable. Ultimately I'd say recommended for light reading, otherwise no.
