We have a Ghost (2023) - Greg - 02-25-2023 Wow. Another Netflix stinker. I really felt the screenplay should have had another pass before they went into production. There were a lot of storylines that just went nowhere. And the film could never really find the story it wanted to tell. Was it about fathers and sons? Was it about young love? Was it a statement about today's viral video culture? Was it an unsolved murder mystery. There were a few laugh moments. Tig Notaro was once again wasted as the Ghost Hunter who had a pass with ghosts that was never fully explained but seemed to be the entire underpinning to her character. No one wants to see the next Captain America be a bad father. RE: We have a Ghost (2023) - Drunk Monk - 02-25-2023 Whew! Thanks for jumping on that grenade for us, Greg. I was almost going to watch this. not. No way I was going to watch this. But thanks all the same. I might have been tempted otherwise... not. |
