RIP Fred Ward 3/8/2022 - Greg - 05-13-2022
This might be premature. I've only seen it listed in one place. It's a Rolling Stone writer who published the obit from the Fred Ward's publicist.
That being said, I met Fred Ward on Tremors. I am Fred Ward in the roof top scene viewed from Burt Gummers house. It is odd to know a star I worked with has passed. Although this will be, I think, the second.

I forgot he was in Tremors. Got selfie? Or was that too early...not to mention generally unprofessional.
I thought he was fantastic in The Right Stuff. I also liked him in Remo Williams but that was tainted by Joel Grey's yellowface controversy.

I had to look him up in IMDB to see what else he did besides Tremors that I had seen. I forgot that he was Henry Miller in Henry and June, and Reese Witherspoon's dad in Sweet Home Alabama.
