America: The Motion Picture - Greg - 07-04-2021

Bad. I should just leave it at that. Because this animated film about the American Revolution is terrible. It's like the story a drunken frat boy would tell about that time if he was really drunk and didn't have a good grasp of the main points of history. Lincoln and Washington are best friends. Benedict Arnold is a werewolf. King James rides around in a jet powered hovercraft. Did I mention Washington fights with chainsaws attached to his wrists?

Occasionally it is funny. There are some pointed political barbs. For instance Washington has to break into a bar called Vietnam with his gang. It becomes a mess. But for the most part it's dumb. Sadly, dumb. tQ hated it much more than I did. Watch at your peril.
