The Laundromat - Drunk Monk - 01-29-2021

The Big Short ala Soderberg & Streep. This has a great cast - Oldman, Banderas, Rauch, Cromwell (only for a moment), Chao, and more. It's about shell company scams and there's a lot of talking to the camera and quirky scene changes. Some nice long take one-ers. It's impressive filmmaking but the story took too many turns, too many tone changes, for me to hang with it. Moral of the story - the rich are screwing us with tax evasion. The mcguffin was good tho.
No sword fights. Not particularly DOOM recommended unless you're a fan of one of the actors.
