What is it? - cranefly - 07-29-2019
While cleaning out the garage, we came across something we can't identify. Maybe it's part of something we bought in the past, or maybe it was left by the previous owner. Any ideas what it is? It seems intended to connect two hoses/pipes of different diameter, but has a dial and screw adjustment for fine tuning. I was thinking it might be part of a dust collection setup, but the dial for fine adjustment doesn't support that.

Okay, so there's a problem with the way I loaded the images. They're hosted on dropbox, and that might be the problem.
Still, that shouldn't prevent you from making an educated guess at what it is! (Jeez!)

It’s a calibrated snorkelator (in German: “kalibrated Snörkelator”). You can get some very precise snorkelating done with that baby.
