Recovered Nat Geo footage with new narration from Jane Goodall recaptures her amazing story. Gorgeous footage, restored to vibrant effect. Watching young Jane in shorts and converses navigate the jungle full of deadly snakes and wild chimps is inspiring. She was strikingly beautiful, lithe and leggy, doing these groundbreaking bold things in the wild. Her narration remains precise in that English way, and she retells her life with a sober, almost scientific observation, continuing to champion her work. Quite moving.
The Philip Glass soundtrack is annoying. He only delivered two soundtracks that worked for me, Koyaanisqatsi & Mishima.
