fair enuf.  i couldn't think of what else to post.  i will restrain myself her in future.

RE: 4:20 - Greg - 02-12-2019

Post away.

This is how it works for me now. Last night I popped awake at 2:30 to make the designated trip down the hall. My first thought now is "Keep the Brain shut off. Don' raise any questions"

Last night that didn't work. I started thinking about how could I make one of the properties livable for the Queen. I did lot of construction planning in my head until I gave up at about 3:50 and took the dogs out for their walk.

I wish this was more a rare occurrence.

I also have to get up to pee at least once a night. I've been taking the dog out at the same time - she peed in the house a couple of times around New Years, and this has stopped that. About 1:30 is her usual time, but she likes to get me up again around 4:30-5:00 to put her up on the couch where it's warmer.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!  ALLUSIONS, EUPHEMISMS, DOUBLE ENTENDRES AHEAD!

I usually get up about 4:30 to practice my epee.  With these ever more extended training sessions,
you'd think I'd be getting a lot better at it -- but in terms of skill level, it's all just a drop in the bucket.

Ewww.

RE: 4:20 - Drunk Monk - 02-12-2019

As the only true epeeist among DOOM, this thread is really starting to piss me off.

4:20 man.  That's what we're supposed to be posting about here.

Angry

You say epeeist like it's a real weapon.

RE: 4:20 - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 02-12-2019

Crime doesn’t epee.

RE: 4:20 - thatguy - 02-17-2019

RE: 4:20 - Drunk Monk - 02-20-2019

The brain circus is so bad nowadays. I pop awake after a sleep cycle and tweak out on potential scenarios. I lose so much sleep here, and it catches up with me at random moments during the day. I really need some stability soon. Not sure how much longer I can keep this up before some major mistake...

RE: 4:20 - Greg - 02-20-2019

I've been averaging about 5 and half hours of sleep a night for the past several weeks. Stupid fitbit monitoring. The night before last I had a lovely two hour break in the middle where I did lumber lists and to-do lists.

Sleep is over rated.

RE: 4:20 - King Bob - 02-20-2019

The dog got me up last night at 4:19 to help her up on the couch. (She's too old to jump and won't walk up the pet stair, although she will walk down it). Was headed back to bed at 4:20 and wondered if DM or Greg were up.

Greg was definitely up. Despite the crazy amount of work he’s doing, he’s regularly up at 3’ish. Makes  me feel guilty for sleeping in until 4:15, 4:30... sometimes as late as 5!

RE: 4:20 - Drunk Monk - 03-01-2019

Slept soundly until 4:20 on the nose. That’s the whole point of this thread for me.

RE: 4:20 - Greg - 03-01-2019

At 3am, Maeve through her food dish against the floor in our bedroom. It makes 10x more noise against the hardwood floors than it did against the carpet. It was like being a bell tower.

I've been up since then remodeling houses and puzzling over dreams.
