How did "Poppin' Fresh Yeti" become PPFY?
Why isn't it PFY? Or P'nFY?
Should this be posted in Issues? Am I cross-posting in the manner of a total ignoramus? I hope so. I mean, I had to ASK PFY what PPFY meant. I guess I missed the PPFY origin issue. What number was that? Was Thor in it? I hope the villain was Magneto. He rocked. Or Galactus.

PPFY is like Tigger saying TTFN -- it just sounds better with four letters. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I submit for your inspection the following points.
1: Tigger's "TTFN" exit line translates precisely to "Ta-ta for now!". Thus, TTFN is an exactly correct four letter combination of the first letters of each word.
2. "Poppin' Fresh" is the tag line for the Pillsbury product line of pre-packaged refrigerated uncooked baking products, represented in commercials by the Pillsbury Doughboy. "The Doughboy", or the "Poppin' Fresh Doughboy", as he is sometimes known, is an animated character and does not exist or think for himself, thus taking him out of our discussion. To follow Greg's mis-spelled logic, "PPFY" might work if the space/time continuum could be renegotiated to accept alternate spelling parameters as accurate or correct. Well, the space/time continuum in charge of spelling re-work had a server crash and is off-line for the foreseeable future. Hence, Greg's attempt to re-spell the "Poppin' Fresh" registered trademark as "Pop and Fresh" is denied.
To sum up, I'll give you three choices:
- accept PFY as the new, correct, indicator for my client, Mr. Yeti.
- alter indicator to "PPPFY" to account for the three P's in "Poppin' Fresh".
- scream "TTFN U SOB! I'LL FN CL HM PPFFNY IFN I FN WN 2."
...in which case, my client and I will see you in court.

Rather than submit to copyright infringement by using "Poppin Fresh", rather we resort to our own creativity. Hence, Pop and Fresh. Thereby abusing the PPFY with a new sobriquet and avoiding any legal entanglements.
Our logic is unassailable and you must concur. (Now on sale at your Chevy dealer)

PFY reads like 'poofy' and that's strictly forbidden in DOOM bylaws and I quote "NO POOFTERS" (yes plaguerized from the Philosophy Department of the University of Wallamaloo aka Monty Python)
P'nFY, well, that's just ghey too. The Yeti can't be having a lower case letter with an apostraphe. That just ain't right. Way too brokeback for the great white bear.
PPFY, that just rings poetic. Plus I like the fact that Yeti's new moniker starts with pee pee.
