New York - Drunk Monk - 06-02-2014

This is the first DOOM NY travel thread? srsly?

I went to Albany. All this time I've been saying I was going to Jersey, but Albany is actually NY. It's the capital, no less.

I went for work - a Tai Chi festival that was held at an Airport Best Western only a few miles from the airport. I flew in, did my work (presented, took pix, schmoozed), and flew out.

Total trip = 51 hours + 5 international airports.

You struggle.

Don't we all? - Drunk Monk - 06-04-2014

Isn't that what DOOM is about now?

Now? - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 06-04-2014

Always.

Sorry, the '"yee-haw" was supposed to be in the lower-case "Sarcasm" font.

Struggle is our hobby, and we are *passionate* about our hobbies.

I did have two yummy bagels there. What is it about east coast bagels? They are just tastier somehow. They weren't even top shelf bagels. One was at the hotel breakfast and the other was at PHL.

Your job is your job. Struggling is the hobby.

It kinda freaks me out to think I was in NY last weekend.

The week before that was Cali Roots. The week before that was Tiger Claw Elite and KFTC Day. The week before that was Edge of Eden.

This week, it's the Ramayana.

Honestly, it's the reggae that's keeping me going now.
