The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim - PC Game - El Dingo - 03-29-2012 "I used to be a frequent poster like you. Then I took a Skyrim to the PC" If you got that joke then you are probably familiar with the epic fantasy game Skyrim. The 'game' is basically a massive wilderness environment where you discover crypts, temples, caves etc and kill everything that lives inside (most residents are evil so your conscience remains clean). The publisher claims 300+ hours of questing. I'm finding that figure a bit low. If you include scavenging items for crafting and searching every mountain crevice for a hidden cavern then you could easily spend months on this thing. I started playing in December and feel like I'm about 75% through the main story quest (fighting in a civil war). I'm playing as an Elven archer, with some one-hand weapon expertise. Next go-round I'll have to try an evil mage. Then a thief. Mass Effect 3? Ha - Mass Effect 5 will be out by the time I'm done in Skyrim. Welp - back to the dungeons! My people need me. Re: The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim - PC Game - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 03-29-2012 Just say no to Skyrim. Diablo 3 comes out in May. Re: The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim - PC Game - El Dingo - 05-22-2012 I finally finished the game. I killed the bad dragon and suppressed the rebel uprising. Holy crap modern PC games are freaking huge. Alan Wake, Deus Ex and then Diablo 3. Having no life takes a lot of free time.
