Wondercon '11 - thatguy - 04-03-2011 Pre-RM Anchor tour, I decided to pay a visit to Wondercon at the Moscone. I could describe it, but it's what you'd expect. Comics. Art. Furries. Costumes...Some great costumes. Some that cannot be unseen. I missed this one, but a friend of mine told me about it: ![]() The autograph aisle was super crowded and had Elvira, Richard Hatch, Peter Mayhew, Lou Ferrigno, a couple of people that appeared in Star Trek TOS. Jaws (from the Bond film) was there, the brunette from Twin Peaks (Fenn?), Janet Leigh's body double from Psycho, a WWF star and a couple of martial artists that were in Enter the Dragon (leaving the details to DM who was chatting them up the day before). I did see the panel/sneak preview for Cowboys and Aliens, and also for the new Three Musketeers movie. I'll try to get something posted in the movies section soon. I also saw a t-shirt that made me think of you all: ![]() --tg Re: Wondercon '11 - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 04-04-2011 I've seen that DOOM logo a couple of times now. I think we need to sue for copyright infringement. Except for the whole can't copyright a word and Dr. Doom probably predates our little clutch. Posted some pix & vids on our KFTC facebook site - Drunk Monk - 04-08-2011 It was fun. And I even got some work done there. Seriously! RE: Wondercon '11 - Drunk Monk - 03-11-2023 I just got my press pass approved for WonderCon 2023. I didn't apply for it. Because WonderCon and SDCC are produced by the same company, my SDCC application just rolled over to WonderCon. I'm tempted but it's like in two weeks in Anaheim and I just can't swing that. |
