After the disappointment of SUCKER PUNCH, I thought I'd treat myself to this little Thai Samurai-sword hottie flick that we did a promo for with Magnet. Magnet usually cherrypicks decent flicks for U.S. distribution, but ouch, ouch, ouch, this was gawd-awful. It's about this odd Ninja-like SWAT team comprised of hot Thai women (and perhaps one katooie but I didn't focus in on it enough to determine for sure). They open each fight with machine guns and quickly progress to samurai swords. You'd think that would be good. You'd think that would be at least somewhat entertaining. But no. Gawd-awful. GawDful. There was no redeeming value, not even in that Mystery Science Theater mocking way. Sometimes, Thai film really stinks.
I'm so done with hot chicks and samurai swords for a while...
