Green Hornet - Drunk Monk - 01-17-2011

CF & I caught the screener on Thurs. Laughed out loud a few times. The end credits has great 3D. I'll have an official review on KFM soon.

I made the mistake of telling Greg not to start watching this movie until I got home from the dog park. I thought, c'mon, how bad could it be? Oh. My. God. I may have to cut out my own eyes, and we're only about an hour in. I never, ever want to see Seth Rogan again. Ever. Ever.

Ever.

I try to be helpful.

Nothing happens until about the sixty minute mark. but that action quickly subsides. I am now firmly in the camp of people who think Rogen can't write, can't act and isn't funny. this film really proves the point. It was all kind of pointless. I don't want my SuperHeroes to be wimpy man-boys. And the bromance thing between Kato and Reid was also kind of creepy. Cameron Diaz also gets to play the ditzy blonde.

If I remember correctly from the rumors floating about when they doing the build for this show, it was a nightmare, too.

Sorry, I should have warned you - Drunk Monk - 06-15-2011

Here's my review:

And here's another article Donovan did (he was another photographer at TCKFMCIII and one of our local freelancers):
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/ezine/article.php?article=940">http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/ezine/a ... rticle=940</a><!-- m -->

The funniest thing about this was that I had a reader (from Hungary, no less) send a letter to me claiming I was short sheeting Chou by comparing him to Bieber. I ran it in the last issue and had several readers comment about it to me at TCKFMCIII. It actually did okay in China, almost $20 mil.
