Kenny and Co. - El Dingo - 12-14-2005
OK I drop something off in the shipping dept. and one of the shipping guys yells, "Hey Mark, check this out".
He hands me this DVD with horrible 70's Mort Drucker-style artwork and says "Remember this?".
The movie was "Kenny and Co.". The box artwork bragged 'from the director of 'Phantasm' and 'Bubba Ho-Tep'.
Basically someone dug up this god-awful 1976 coming-of-age film that should have stayed in the vault.
It features some of the stars of Phantasm but has the atmosphere of being directed by a retarded person. Bad acting, sets, lighting and dialog that screams MST3K. I actually laughed out loud imagining what Joel and the bots would say watching this trash. I guess that almost redeems it.
