I was in town and thought I'd stop by to continue a phone conversation with a supervisor that got interrupted the night before. I've totally forgotten who was playing and I don't feel like looking it up on the web. It was a few black metal acts. I didn't listen much, just help patch up a few crowd surfing casualties.
The most notable thing was that the Fillmore just got a new state-of-the-art light system, something they've been begging for for half a decade. Also, Wolfgang Puck has taken over the bar and concessions. Puck controls several clubs like Punchline and Cobb's, probably more that I don't know.
