Not so hidden - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 05-10-2008 I was going through the vaults and I found a couple of albums: Get your YaYa's out, Rust never sleeps and Dark Side of the Moon. I wonder if they are worth anything? I wonder if anybody wants them? I really need to be less of a pack rat. - El Dingo - 05-11-2008 "Get Your Ya Ya's Out" i snotable for being the first 'live' concert album compiled from different performances and overdubbed with audience sounds: From Wikipedia: The performances captured for this release were recorded on November 27 – 28 November 1969 at New York City's Madison Square Garden, while "Love in Vain" was recorded in Baltimore on 26 November 1969. Overdubbing was undertaken during January and February 1970 in London's Olympic Studios. Contrary to popular belief, no instruments were overdubbed, although on bootlegs, examples are known of Keith Richards trying out different guitar parts (e.g. a guitar solo on "Jumpin' Jack Flash"). The finished product featured new lead vocals on half the tracks, and added backing vocals by Keith Richards on several other.[citation needed] "Get Your Ya Ya's Out" is $5 on ebay Does your 'Dark Side of the Moon' still have the poster/stickers insert? If so it's worth about $10 'Rust Never Sleeps' is $7.00 Dammit - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 05-11-2008 I was going to retire. Now, I can only retire to the corner market for more Burgermeister. |
