Back to waiting on an email. I need a link from Festivee in order to upload the film. I've got the people who made my DCP ready to go as soon as I get the email. But they are cutting it tight with the uploads since they want them up by tomorrow, or so they say.
I'm curious if Aug 1 will be a hard deadline or not.

I am glad I'm in. I feel better once I get the movie uploading because that will feel official.

I got the email with the link to upload the film. They've extended the deadline until Wednesday so I have plenty of time.
At this point, it is all good. I am much calmer.

Why must it always be a struggle with the BIFF? I'm filling in the form to enter and upload the movie. I drag and drop the movie poster on the spot where the movie poster is to be uploaded. When I do, strange things happen. I see the poster and not the entry page. I close the page and then re-click the link for the page. The page opens to nothing. I refresh. Blank page. I close Safari (the browser I am using) and reopen. Blank page. I email the website manager. They say strange. They send me a new link. I click it. Blank page.
I paste the link into the Google Chrome Browser. Pages comes up fine. I close Google Chrome. I open Google Chrome. The page comes up fine.
I have now filled in the form and I'm just going to wait until Monday when SimpleDCP uploads the movie to the sight. I also have to make an acceptance speech movie that BIFF will use in their awards shows if Stro wins anything. That has to be done by Monday as well.

I have completed the BIFF acceptance speech for the award show. Everyone gets to make one and they show the winners, just like a big time award show! If they don't show it at the awards show, it might end up here.

Funny story. The audio was completely distorted on the first go around of filming the acceptance speech. The second time took longer because the actor couldn't get his shit together. Didn't matter, upon checking, all the footage was out of focus. Take three. More screwups by the actor. Checking now to see if we have to go in for round four.
