So much Schadnefreude. But didn't you go through the same pain.
For the last episode, I think they knew where they wanted to end up but they didn't know how to get there. So, there was a lot of just running around the hallways. There was that black stuff threatening them but there was no point to it. It was just hostile. You could argue it was the building blocks of what was to come or the degradation of what existed. But, like so much, never explained. Then there was the monologuing. So much monologuing as they tried desperately to give structure to the plot and what everyone was doing. Yawn. And then the re-programming. How convenient.
I'm sure it would be educational to go back and look for clues along the way but life is too short for that idiocy. I will watch the making of that is currently on Netflix. The Queen is a hard pass on that.

Not quite. I was theorizing that Emily was insane and being restrained chemically and physically and it was all her hallucination. This was largely due to the asylum scenes and the White Rabbit opening theme song. I was pleased to discover that I wasn’t too far off the mark in the end and amused that they took it so far out. I was also happy that it had a solution because I was worried it would be a more mysterious cliffhanger (I suppose it could still be so if they attempt s2).

Just finished sleeping through the BTS documentary. The one take away was this group this also did a show caked The Dark.

Yeah, a lot of the press buzz was about how this team also did The Dark. Didn't work on me though because I never saw that.
It was all about Emily for me.

I'm glad of it. It ended conclusively in my mind. There was no need for another season. That would've ruined what little it had to offer.

Just started watching this. Ep 1 was pretty good. Very atmospheric. But the "main character has a dense backstory that will slowly be revealed through flashbacks" thing is getting tired. Still planning on keeping with it.
