I’ve been up for over an hour trying to get back to sleep. I woke from a messed up dream, something of a horror noir, that was long and complicated and while I remember chunks of it still, it’s too much to try to dream log here - I blame A Touch of Sin - http://brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomForum/showthread.php?tid=8446&pid=78641#pid78641 - even though it was unrelated.
I can hear our mockingbird, the one meter in our backyard, singing its ridiculously intricate tune like it does, and the seals barking way off at the wharf, like they do. The sounds of our bungalow.
Big day today. Gotta get some more sleep…

Woke up at 4:07 to the sound of machine gunfire from the neighbor's. Heard another round at 5:30 coming back from the dog walk.
